Registration Information:
Labs and discussion sections will not meet the first week of classes - please check your syllabus. Lab manuals are required, and are sold at the Iowa Hawkshop in the IMU. Cannot register for this course if previously taken PHYS:1611  or PHYS:1701 due to regression. Students will need to purchase a WileyPLUS registration code.  This can be purchased directly from Wileyplus on their website or at the Iowa Hawkshop in the IMU.  This code provides web access to the full version of the online textbook and the other WileyPLUS features including the online homework system that we will use.  This code provides access for one year, so it also provides access for the second half of the sequence (PHYS 1512) at no additional cost. Wiley also provides an e-book for additional cost. For students who wish to have a paper copy of the textbook, any of the older (8e, 9e, 10e) or the current edition (11e) provide essentially the same material
