This course is for students with junior standing or higher who are completing the Writing Capstone requirement of the Certificate in Writing. This is a hybrid course that is open to both online/distance learning and on-campus students. All students enrolled in this course must be able to attend class meetings at the times specified under the Time and Location heading; online students will join remotely while on-campus students will join in a university classroom. Students unable to meet at the scheduled meeting times should write to the certificate coordinator, Tracy Meginnis, at CLAS-Writing-Cert@uiowa.edu to discuss alternate options. Students wishing to complete WRIT:4001 must submit a registration preapproval form (https://uiowa.qualtrics.com/jfe/form/SV_cC8l3FJlF59hMUe) and receive approval from the course supervisor in order to receive permission to register for this course.
