This course is for students with junior standing or higher who are completing the Writing Capstone requirement of the Certificate in Writing. This is a hybrid course that is open to both online/distance learning and on-campus students. All students enrolled in this course must be able to attend class meetings at the times specified under the Time and Location heading; online students will join remotely while on-campus students will join in a university classroom. Students unable to meet at the scheduled meeting times should write to the certificate coordinator, Tracy Meginnis, at the registration email listed in MyUI to discuss alternate options. More information about Capstone requirements is available at https://magidcenter.uiowa.edu/certificate/capstone-information.  Students wishing to complete WRIT:4001 must submit a registration preapproval form (https://uiowa.qualtrics.com/jfe/form/SV_0IndnJ7L5MlXe05) and receive approval from the course supervisor in order to receive permission to register for this course. Once permission is received to register, BOTH online and on-campus students should enroll in section :0001. Please contact the registration email with any questions. This course is open to students pursuing the Certificate in Writing only. It may not be used toward the Creative Writing emphasis of the BAS or BLS degrees.
