Quantum computing and quantum information have been rapidly evolving topics during the past few years and we are thinking about offering a related course this Spring 2021. The course targets senior undergraduates and graduate students. It will offer a hands-on experience with contemporary use of computers. Topics that will be covered: Basic goals of quantum computing A quick review of basic quantum mechanics Computational complexity Quantum circuits Physical realizations (hardware) Hands-on introduction to quantum computing (using public facilities).
