Course must be approved by supervising faculty prior to registration.  Procedure:a. Student identifies a primary faculty member to mentor them through the course.b. Student develops a plan for the course that addresses: Educational objectives, proposed activities, deliverable academic product, evaluation process, reading list, and credits requested.c. The plan needs to be approved, signed, and dated by the faculty mentor. The plan must be submitted to the Graduate Program Coordinator to be added to the students academic file.d. Students must submit a progress report to their faculty mentor midway through the semester.e. Students are responsible for submitting the final project at the end of the semester.
